The first official poster along with first-look images for Netflix’s upcoming series Treason has been released online. The series stars Charlie Cox playing the lead along with Oblivion star Olga Kurylenko and Game of Thrones fame Oona Chaplin.

The series follows the adventures of an MI6 pilot named Adam Lawrence who meets a girl named Kara, his life is thrown into turmoil after it is revealed that she is a Russian spy. The ensuing chaos forges a bond between Adam, his wife Maddy and Kara, which turns into a complicated triangular relationship.

Charlie Cox who starred in films like Stardust and Spiderman: No Way Home, is best known for playing the visually challenged superhero vigilante in the now cancelled Netflix series Daredevil. However, due to popular demand, Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil in Disney+’s upcoming revival of the show. He will also appear as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in future Marvel projects.

The cast of Treason also includes Ciarán Hinds, Tracy Ifeachor, Beau Gadsdon, Avital Lvova, Brian Law, Joe Macaulay, and Rishi Nair in supporting roles. Matt Charman, best known for co-writing Bridge of Spies, holds writing credits for the series while Louise Hooper and Sarah O’Gorman are brought in as directors. The Netflix series is all set to stream on 26 December.
