On Sunday, Lyca Productions took to Twitter to announce that Rajinikanth’s character from Lal Salaam will be revealed by them at midnight on May 8.
The tweet shared by the makers, along with a poster, read, “Lal Salaam everyone! Our BHAI is back to MUMBAI tomorrow.” Further, the director of Lal Salaam, and Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter and wrote, THE MAN ..THE MANIDHAN…THE POWER MAGNET ARRIVES MIDNIGHT… “

While Rajinikanth will play a cameo in the film, Lal Salaam will also star Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles. Besides direction, Aishwarya has also written the screenplay of the film. It will be the first time Aishwarya is directing Rajinikanth and their maiden professional collaboration. The music will be composed by AR Rahman.
The technical crew consists of Ramu Thangaraj as the art director, editing handled by Pravin Baaskar, and Vishnu Rangasamy as the cinematographer. Lal Salaam will release in theatres in 2023.
