Raul Castillo, Tony Cavalero, Melonie Diaz, and Josh Brener have been cast in the upcoming crypto heist thriller titled Cold Wallet. The film is helmed by director Cutter Hodierne.
Cold Wallet is inspired by true events and was in production during the FTX scam, a crypto currency exchange platform which had a steadfast growth since its launch in 2019, before it came crashing down in November 2022.
The production of the film has been wrapped up, which has script by John Hobey. He has earlier worked with Cutter for their film Fishing Without Nets. The story is credited to Cutter, John and Derek McMurtry. The film is backed by Benjamin Wiessner of Vanishing Angle along with John and Cutter.
I can’t stress enough how thrilled I am to be a part of Cutter’s new feature. I was a big fan of Fishing Without Nets and, though I feel our film is just as timely and relevant, I think he has managed to move in a whole new direction,” said Raúl Castillo who is also one of the executive producers of the film.
