The second single from the upcoming Tamil film Maamannan, Jigu Jigu Rail, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday.

Composed and voiced by AR Rahman, the song is written by Yuga Bharathi. The music video, shot in black and white, shows Rahman performing the song along with a group of children. The vocals for the children are performed by ST Nishanth, J Sarvesh, P Pragadeesh, Neha Girish, R Aadya, and R Diva Lakshmi.

Maamannan is written and directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film features Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh, Fahadh Faasil, and Vadivelu in prominent roles. It is Mari Selvaraj’s third directorial venture after Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. Notably, it will mark Udhayanidhi’s final film as an actor before he takes up a full-fledged political career.

While a release date is yet to be revealed, the makers are planning for a June release. The film is backed by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant movies. The technical crew includes cinematographer Theni Eswar, editor Selva, lyricist Yugabharathi, and dance choreographer Sandy.
