Laver Cup 2022 Highlights: Roger Federer bowed out of the sport with a defeat as he and Rafael Nadal went down against Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock in the Laver Cup on Saturday. It seemed like a fairytale ending for Federer after he and his partner Nadal had won the first set 6-4 against the American duo. However, Tiafoe and Sock won the second set 7-6 (7-2) after a tie-break to level things. Federer and Nadal then squanderered a match point as Tiafoe and Sock pegged them back in the match tie-break to level Team World in the tie. The American pair won the match 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 11-9. Team Europe had earlier taken a 2-0 lead after Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas had defeated Jack Sock and Diego Schwartzman, respectively. Alex de Minaur then defeated Andy Murray to pull one back for Team World.
