Apple TV+ launched the trailer of its upcoming series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which is based on Legendary’s Monsterverse. The series will premiere on November 17 with two episodes, followed by one episode releasing every Friday until January 12.

The cast includes Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski, among others.

The series is set in the same universe as the Godzilla and Kong films. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will be covering three generations and focus on the aftermath of the batttle between Godzilla and Titans. Two siblings are en route to unravel their family’s connection to a secret organisation called Monarch. As each step draws them near to the monsters, the series will follow how the siblings can rescue the threatened Monarch.

The series is developed by Chris Black and Matt Fraction, with Matt Shakman directing the first two episodes. Attached to the Legendary Television, all of them serve as executive producers alongside Andy Goddard, Brad Van Arragon, Andrew Colville and Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell.
