Actors William H Macy, John Corbett, Joel Courtney, DeVon Franklin, and Stephanie Szostak will be part of the cast of upcoming film titled On Fire. Directed by filmmaker Sean McNamara, the project has acquired SAF-AFTRA interim agreement and will go on floors from first week of November.
The film is based on inspirational speaker John O’Leary’s bestseller by the same name.
Masey McLain, Natalie Buck and James McCracken will also be part of the cast. On Fire is written for screen by Gregory Poirier. The book followed the nine-year-old John who is burned fully during an accident, as he fights to survive and show faith in life.
“On Fire weaves together tragedy, redemption, baseball and a love story. At a time of so much divisiveness, cynicism, and negativity, On Fire celebrates what happens when a community comes together, when personal imperfections are embraced and when we allow the fear of who we wish we were to finally give way to the gift of all we already are,” said John.
On Fire is backed by J Todd Harris, Margaret French Isaac, David Brookwell and Sean.
