We had earlier reported that Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is in the making with a stellar star cast including Willem Dafoe playing the titular role. According to a report by Collider, it is now known that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be featuring in the upcoming horror film.
The production is currently happening in Prague. The film will also feature Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, among others
The makers describe the film as a ‘gothic tale of obsession’ It is worth noting that the original film was inspired from Bram Stoker’s Dracula and went on to redefine the horror genre in Hollywood. The upcoming remake is based on a script written by the director. Eggers is best known for making films like The Northman and The Lighthouse.
An official announcement on the release date is yet to be made.
Meanwhile, apart from Nosferatu, Aaron will also feature in Kraven the Hunter in the titular antagonist role and The Fall Guy alongside Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
