For the first ever time for Netflix, a live event is set to be streamed by the platform, and the global live event will be headlined by Chris Rock in his new stand-up comedy special.

The special will stream in early 2023.

As per a note issued by Netflix, Robbie Praw, Netflix Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats said, “Chris Rock is one of the most iconic and important comedic voices of our generation. We’re thrilled the entire world will be able to experience a live Chris Rock comedy event and be a part of Netflix history. This will be an unforgettable moment and we’re so honored that Chris is carrying this torch.”

The upcoming show will be second stand-up special for Netflix after he had already done the 2018 Tambourine: The Saturday Night Live. However, this will be comedian’s seventh stand-up show, who is currently on Ego Death world tour with shows planned in California, Texas and Washington.
