The makers of Dhanush’s highly anticipated film, Captain Miller, have announced that its first look will be released on June 30. In a short message on Sunday, Dhanush hinted about the imminent release of the first look with an hourglass emoji but did not disclose any further details.

Directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kayidham-fame, Captain Miller also stars Shivarajkumar and Priyanka Mohan in prominent roles. Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish and John Kokken are also part of the cast of Captain Miller.
As per reports, the film is billed as an action-adventure drama set in the pre-Independence era.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film has cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, while GV Prakash Kumar and Naagooran will be handling the music and editing departments, respectively. Siddhartha Nuni is the cinematographer.
Meanwhile, Dhanush was last seen in Vaathi/Sir. The actor recently announced he would collaborate with Karnan director Mari Selvaraj for a film. He also has a film with filmmakers Sekhar Kammula and Anand L Rai. The latter is titled Tere Ishk Mein.
