HBO Max cancelled comedy series South Side after three seasons. The sitcom created by Bashir Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle, will not be heading for a fourth season. 

South Side follows two friends who just graduated from a community college and are ready to take over the world. But until they do, they are stuck working at Rent-T-Own. Shot in the locations of Chicago’s Englewood neighbourhood, the show offers an authentic look into what life in USA’s South Side is all about.

South Side debuted on the American cable channel Comedy Central. Later, it moved to HBO Max for its second season and continued for one more season. It comprised of eight episodes and streamed in December last year.

The series features Sultan Salahuddin, Kareme Young, Quincy Young, Chandra Russell, Zuri Salahuddin and Nefetari Spencer.

Meanwhile, HBO recently cancelled a few popular series running in the steamer, such as Titans, Doom Patrol and Pennyworth.
