The twelfth season is yet to have a premiere date

We had earlier reported that HBO’s sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm’s twelfth season went on floors last November. The latest update is that the show is likely to wrap with the forthcoming season, which is yet to have a premiere date. Created by Larry David, who stars as a semi-fictionalized version of himself. Curb Your Enthusiasm debuted on October 15, 2000.

Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Richard Lewis tweeted about filming his last-ever scene, intending an end of the series, “There I was a few hours ago in my trailer on location to shoot my last scene of Curb 12. Hard to believe we started in 2000. The cast and crew all knew we were working for a genius. When that rarity happens, no one ever takes a moment for granted. We love you, LD.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, David’s current pact with HBO is up this year, so if he opts to return to Curb — which he’s done in the past — it would require him to ink a new pact with HBO.

Curb Your Enthusiasm also features Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and J.B. Smoove.
