On Friday, actor Jiiva took to Twitter to share his opinion on Ashok Selvan and Sarath Kumar’s latest film Por Thozhil. Heaping praises on the film, the actor said, “Watched Por Thozhil – Another brilliant addition to Kollywood’s Crime Thriller Genre! Congratulations Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan and a great debut director Vignesh Raja for a roaring triumph. Cheers to the entire cast & crew !!!!”
Directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Raja, the film also stars Nikhila Vimal in a significant role. The story revolves around a veteran cop Loganathan, played by Sarathkumar, and newbie Prakash, played by Ashok, who investigate a series of murders committed by the same person. Vignesh Raja has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash.
The film’s technical crew includes Kalaiselvan Sivaji as the cinematographer, Sreejith Sarangm as the editor, and Jakes Bejoy as the music composer. The film is attached to Applause Entertainment studio, which marks its maiden Tamil project with Por Thozhil. The banner behind projects like Scam 1992, and Zwigato, is producing the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio.
