Keanu Reeves to make Broadway debut with Waiting for Godot

Samuel Beckett is reviving Waiting for Godot for Broadway, and the latest speculation is that actor Keanu Reeves is all set to make his debut on Broadway. The role will also mark his first major theatre performance.

Previously, the John Wick actor portrayed Prince Hamlet in a 1995 Manitoba Theatre Centre production of Hamlet in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His participation in Waiting for Godot is only speculated and we await official confirmation.

In 1993, Reeves acted alongside Oscar-winning Hamlet director Sir Kenneth Branagh, Dame Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington and Kate Beckinsale in the Shakespeare film Much Ado About Nothing.

Keanu Reeves was last seen in John Wick 4 which was directed by Chad Stahelski and based on a script written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. John Wick: Chapter 4 hit theatres on March 24 and opened to great reviews.
