Director Mari Selvaraj, who is currently working on Maamannan, shared an update about the film. Addressing the media, he said that post-production works are in the final stage.
“The release date would be announced sometime this week. It will be a big film in my career with an ensemble star cast. The film talks about significant politics. And Vadivelu’s role will be a surprise and it will reiterate the big legend that he is,” Mari said.
The director said that the film will put forward a strong question and that he will know how the audience will receive it when only they watch it. “It is a long-time desire to work with AR Rahman sir. I am happy to work with him and he understood my politics very well. I would like to continue working with him in the future. And I was happy to bring Udhayanidhi, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh in one frame,” he added.
