Ahead of the release of Raavana Kottam on May 12, makers released the character posters of actors Anandhi and Deepa Shankar. While Anandhi will be seen as Indhira, Deepa’s character is named Kaaliamma. Shanthanu, the lead will be appearing as Sengutvan in the film.

Billed as a rural drama, Raavana Kottam is written and directed by Vikram Sugumaran, who is best known for making the 2013 film Madha Yaanai Koottam. The music for Raavana Kottam has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran. He had earlier composed the music for films like Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Dear Comrade, and Radhe Shyam.
Apart from Shanthnu and Anandhi, the cast of the film also includes Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and Aruldoss. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore. Raavana Kottam is produced by Kannan Ravi.
