The Chennai chapter of anthology Modern Love, titled Modern Love Chennai, is set to release on Prime Video on Thursday. Ahead of its release, director Nelson Dilipkumar who happened to watch the segment directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, hailed his work and gave a shoutout.

Taking to Twitter, Nelson write, “Happened to watch Thiyagarajankumararaja sir’s Ninaivooruparavai from Modern Love Chennai, What an abstract and creative way to approach a love story, magical visuals and technical brilliance at its finest form and added with excellent performances from the cast. Don’t miss it.”

Modern Love Chennai will bring six stories directed by Bharathiraja, Balaji Sakthivel, Rajumurugan, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Akshay Sundher, and Thiagarajan Kumararaja. It is produced under the banner of Tyler Durden And Kino Fist, with Thiagarajan Kumararaja as the creator.

Sean Roldan, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Ilaiyaraaja and GV Prakash Kumar have composed the music for the anthology. The series features Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, Kishore, Ramya Nambessan, Vijayalakshmi, TJ Bhanu, among others.

Meanwhile, Nelson is currently shooting Jailer with Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film will hit the theatres in August.
