The second season of Netflix’s much-celebrated romantic-comedy-drama series  Heartstopper will be streaming on August 3. Netflix announced the news on Monday. The streamer announced the news with a brief teaser showcasing the behind-the-scenes from the sets of season two.

 
Adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman, the series follows the story of Charlie and Nick, who meet at the school and eventually realises that their friendship has bloomed into an unexpected romance. Kit Connor and Joe Locke essay the role of  Nick and Charlie, respectively. 

Apart from the leading duo, the series also features William Gao as Tao Xu, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, and Sebastian Croft as Benjamin, among others. 

Heartstopper was a runaway success for Netflix, and the streamer had already commissioned two more seasons.
