We had earlier reported that filmmaker Zach Cregger who helmed horror film Barbarian will be once again teaming up with the producers of the film for another horror film Weapon. The latest is that actor Pedro Pascal is set to star in the film.
While the role of the actor and the plot details are kept under wraps, as per a Collider report, the film is described to be “an interrelated, multistory horror epic that tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.”
Zach has also written the script of the film, with Roy Lee, JD Lifshitz and Raphael Margules backing the film. The film will go on floors from this fall. A release date is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal was seen in projects like Narcos, Wonder Woman 1984, Game of Thrones and further rose to fame with his roles in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian.
