Por Thozhil, the recently released Tamil film starring Ashok Selvan and Sarath Kumar in the lead roles, has collected over Rs 50 crore at the box office globally.
Directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Raja, the film also stars Nikhila Vimal in a significant role. The story revolves around a veteran cop Loganathan, played by Sarathkumar, and newbie Prakash, played by Ashok, who investigate a series of murders committed by the same person. Vignesh Raja has written Por Thozhil along with Alfred Prakash.
“Por Thozhil gave happiness to film industry, the film have collected around 50 cr so far worldwide. This film did more miracles in Box office, Theater owners are very happy to release this film. Vignesh Raja is a boom to our film industry,” said the distributor of the film Sakthivelan.
The film’s technical crew includes Kalaiselvan Sivaji as the cinematographer, Sreejith Sarangm as the editor, and Jakes Bejoy as the music composer.
The film is attached to Applause Entertainment studio, which marks its maiden Tamil project with Por Thozhil. The banner behind projects like Scam 1992 and Zwigato produced the film in association with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio.
