Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil debut of Sinu, who is known for directing Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). Bankrolled by Jobi P Sam, the film has Vedhika playing the female lead. Petta Rap’s technical crew consist of music composer D Imman, cinematographer Jithu Damodhar and editor by San Lokesh.
