Apple TV+’s upcoming limited series Presumed Innocent has added three more major names to its cast. Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and O-T Fagbenle are the new ones who have joined the main cast. Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Camp, and Elizabeth Marvel were previously confirmed to act in it. Jake Gyllenhaal also serves as an executive producer of the series. Greg Yaitanes and Anne Sewitsky will be directing the series written by David E. Kelley. 

Presumed Innocent is a book written by Scott Turow. It tells the story of a gruesome murder that involves one of the members of the Chicago DA’s s office. The book, published in 1987, became a feature film in 1990, with the same title starring Harrison Ford. In the series, Jake Gyllenhaal will be taking on the role Ford played in the film. 

BAFTA Award nominee Renate Reinsve has been cast as Carolyn Polhemus, a role played by Greta Scacchi in the film. Peter Sarsgaard plays Tommy Molto, Chief Deputy District attorney- a role played by Joe Grifasi in the 1990 film. OT Fagbenle roped in as Nico Della Guardia, a politician played by Tom Mardirosian in the original.
