Alan Ritchson, who is best known for playing the titular role in the Amazon Prime series Reacher, is all set to play the lead in an action-thriller. The upcoming film titled Motor City, will be directed by Timur Bekmambetov, who is best known for making films like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Wanted.
Ritchson will play John Miller, who comes out of prison to unleash his vengeance on those who framed him. Motor City is based on a script written by Chad St.John, who will also be producing the film. The rest of the cast and release plans for the film are yet to be announced.
Ritchson will next be seen in the tenth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise Fast X. He will also be seen alongside Hillary Swank in Ordinary Angels. He will also appear in the Guy Ritchie WWII action-adventure film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
