Suriya’s Jai Bhim was one of the most spoken-about films of 2021 and remains a topic of discussion even today. The film received various accolades and award nominations nationally and internationally. Recently, Suriya’s production house, 2D Entertainment, released the screenplay as a book. The book will be available for sale at the Chennai Book Fair 2023.
In a tweet in Tamil, 2D Entertainment announced that author Samas has compiled the film’s screenplay along with the conversations of the technicians of Jai Bhim. The production banner also shared a photo of Suriya holding the book’s cover.

Starring Suriya, Lijomol Jose, and Manikandan in lead roles, inspired by real-life landmark cases, Jai Bhim sheds light on the custodial torture that Rajakannu, a man from the Irula tribe, is subjected to discrimination based on caste. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the story is based on a true incident involving a case fought by Justice K Chandru in 1993.
