The makers of Raavana Kottam, the upcoming film starring Shanthnu Bhagyaraj in the lead role, released the making video of the film on social media on Tuesday.
The video shows the behind-the-scenes of making some portions of the film, which is set against the backdrop of a rural setup. There are extensive night shots, bomb blasts and fire, as seen from the video. The trailer was released a few days back, hinting the film to surround about the issues concerning Seema Karuvela Maram, a type of invasive plant species.
“Your craft and vision will definitely show me in a new light. Was one Unforgettable experience,” Shanthnu wrote on social media.
Billed as a rural drama, Raavana Kottam is written and directed by Vikram Sugumaran, who is best known for making the 2013 film Madha Yaanai Koottam. The music for Raavana Kottam has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
Apart from Shanthnu and Anandhi, the cast of the film also includes Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, Deepa Shankar, and Aruldoss. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore. Raavana Kottam is produced by Kannan Ravi. It is set to hit theatres on May 12.
