On Tuesday, makers released the trailer of Maalai Nera Malli Poo. Written and directed by Sanjay Narayanan, the film stars Vinithra Menon in the lead role.
The tagline of Maalai Nera Malli Poo reads, ‘A peak into the life of a sex worker’. The trailer of the film too shows Vinithra as a sex worker, who balances her profession and also tries to make her son understand the problems that come with the profession.
Maalai Nera Malli Poo also stars Ashwin, Dhinesh Pandiyar, and Samyuktha. The film is produced by Vijayalakshmi Narayanan of Every frame matters. Noydup Dorjee and Benny Richardson handled the cinematography, while Hrithik Shakthivel composed the music. Director Sanjay Narayanan has handled the editing for the film as well.
Maalai Nera Malli Poo will have a direct OTT premiere on Aha Tamil on June 9.
