While the teaser trailer for The Flash had been released in October 2021, the first full-length official trailer for the long-awaited DC film is expected to drop during the Super Bowl game in the US. The final playoff game of the NFL tournament is scheduled to take place on 12 February 2023.

Warner Bros is planning to telecast the trailer during half-time and also simultaneously release it online. The Flash has been in production hell since Andy Muschietti was attached to direct the film back in 2019. The production of the film was further bogged down by controversies surrounding Ezra Miller and Warner Bros’ plans to build a cinematic universe falling apart due to Zack Snyder’s exit.

After James Gunn was brought on board, plans to further the current Justice League was dropped one after the other, with Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill’s exit from the franchise being the most recent one.

Apart from Ezra Miller in the lead, The Flash also stars  Michael Keaton, Michael Shannon, Maribel Verdú, Sasha Calle, Antje Traue, Kiersey Clemons, and Ron Livingston. The film is currently scheduled to release on 23 June 2023.
