On Wednesday, the makers of Maaveeran released the second single Vannarapettayila. Sung by Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar the music for the film has been composed by Bharath Shankar. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics for the song.
The lyric video of Vannarapetaiyila features both Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar as journalists and colleagues who end up falling in love. Behind the scenes, we are also shown how they recorded the song.
The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has begun. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, the film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. The ensemble cast of the film includes Mysskin, Saritha, Yogi Babu, and Sunil, among others.
The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, music composer Bharath Shankar and editor Philomin Raj. Maaveeran marks Madonne’s sophomore directorial after the award-winning film Mandela.
Maaveeran is all set to hit theatres on July 14.
