The much-awaited trailer of Viduthalai Part 1 was released on Wednesday. The film is directed by Vetrimaaran.
The trailer showcases Vijay Sethupathi as a revolutionary named Perumal, and Soori plays the role of a police officer. Rajiv Menon and Gautham Vasudev Menon play the higher officials in the police force. The team is on a mission to hunt down Permual, At the end of the trailer, Sethupathi’s Perumal asks the police, “You separate humans upon birth as top, bottom or middle. Aren’t you the separatist here? We fight for the inclusion of all in society. Are we the separatists?”

Produced by Elred Kumar under his banner RS Infotainment, Viduthalai is set to release in two parts. Viduthalai Part 1 also stars Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, and Chethan in supporting roles.
The technical team of Viduthalai consists of cinematographer R Velraj, editor R Ramar and action choreographer Peter Hein. The release date of the film is yet to be to be announced.
