Academy award nominee Willem Dafoe expresses interest in getting back to the green boots of the Green Goblin for future Spiderman projects.

In an interview with Inverse,  Dafoe said, “If everything was right… I mean, that’s a great role. I liked the fact that it’s a double role both times. Twenty years ago, and fairly recently, both times (were) very different experiences, but I had a good time on both,” Dafoe said.

Dafoe recently returned as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), which also saw the return of Tobey Maguire as the friendly neighbourhood superhero.

Meanwhile, Dafoe’s latest release is director Vasilis Katsoupis’ Inside, which features him as Nemo, a high-end art thief, who finds himself trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned.
