India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test Match, Day 2 Live Updates: India are in control of the proceedings against Bangladesh on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test in Mirpur. India were 226/4 at tea, trailing Bangladesh by a solitary run. Rishabh Pant was batting on 86, while Shreyas Iyer was also unbeaten on 58. The unbeaten partnership between Pant and Shreyas Iyer comes after India’s top-order collapse. Taijul Islam has been the standout bowler for Bangladesh, having taken three wickets — KL Rahul (10), Shubman Gill (20) and Cheteshwar Pujara (24) — so far. Meanwhile, Taskin Ahmed had bagged the wicket of Virat Kohli (24). Earlier on Day 1, India had bowled out Bangladesh for 227 after the hosts had elected to bat in Mirpur. For India, Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin had bagged four wickets each, while Jaydev Unadkat had taken two on his return to the team after a 12 year gap.
