PAK vs NZ, 1st Test, Day 5 Highlights: The first Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a draw after bad light forced an early stumps on Day 5 in Karachi. Chasing 138, New Zealand were 61/1 with Tom Latham (35*) and Devon Conway (18*) standing unbeaten, before the game was called-off. Earlier, Pakistan declared their innings at 311/8 after taking a lead of 137 after Imam-ul-Haq smashed 96 runs, followed Sarfaraz Ahmed and Saud Shakeel scoring 53 and 55* runs respectively. For New Zealand, Ish Sodhi was the pick among the bowlers, as he finished with the figures of 6/86. This was Sodhi’s maiden five-wicket haul in Tests. Earlier, Williamson’s unbeaten double century enabled the visitors to declare their first innings on 612-9 — a good 174-run lead over Pakistan’s 438. (SCORECARD)
