Renault has officially unveiled the all-new Duster sports utility vehicle globally. The automaker first showcased the car as a Dacia derivative last year. The new Renault version comes with minor styling changes. The Duster compact SUV is likely to be launched in India sometime in 2025. The car gets a contemporary exterior design, an updated and feature-equipped interior, and new powertrain options.

In terms of exterior, the new Duster is manufactured on the Alliance’s CMF-B architecture, and it resembles its Dacia counterpart. The grille equipped in the SUV now has Renault lettering in place of the brand logo. The new Duster retains several features from the Dacia version, including vertical air vents in the bumper, circular fog light units, slim Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps, and a large lower grille. The Renault Duster comes equipped with elements like roof rails, chunky wheel arches, a pronounced roof spoiler, and pillar-mounted back door handles.

Inside the cabin, the all-new Duster SUV comes equipped with features like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, a fully digital 7.0-inch instrument display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a redesigned steering wheel with controls, and different seat upholstery. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is positioned slightly toward the driver.

The new Duster is likely to come with three engine options, including two electrified variants. International Duster models will feature a 1.2-litre petrol-hybrid, a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor. The Indian version, on the other hand, is expected to adopt previous powertrain options. Transmission duties are done by a six-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the front two wheels and all four wheels through the optional 4×4 system.
