Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Sony’s third instalment of the animated Spider-verse, has been delayed indefinitely. The film, which was originally slated for a release on March 29, 2024, no longer has a release date.
As reported by Variety, the change in the release date was due to the cast’s unavailability to record sound before the initially scheduled release.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is credited as the third film that will follow the story of Miles Morales.The earlier two films in the animated Spider-Verse, namely Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, are both commercial and critical successes.
