The makers of GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh’s Dear announced on Tuesday, that the shooting for the film has been wrapped. The film is helmed by Anand Ravichandran, who has previously directed Sethum Aayiram Pon.
In an earlier conversation with CE, director Anand Ravichandran said, “It is a family drama revolving around a husband and wife. It deals with a particular conflict that has happened in my house as well and the film tells how this particular family deals with it. It is a couple’s story and starts off with the wedding and ends touching upon what it takes to have a long-lasting marriage.”
Thalaivasal Vijay, Rohini, Kaali Venkat, and Nandhini (of Blacksheep channel fame) are the actors who will feature as GV Prakash’s side of the family. On the other hand, actors Ilavarasu, and Geeta Kailasam play Aishwarya’s family members.
Varun Tripuaneni, Abhishek Ramisetty and G Pruthviraj have backed Dear under the Nutmeg Productions banner. The technical crew of the film has GV Prakash himself on music composition, Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy on cinematography and Rukesh from the editing department.
